Journalism and Mass Communication at Shah Satnam Ji Boys College, Sirsa (Haryana) aims to develop critical and analytical thinking skills in the students who desire to pursue career in Media industry. The curriculum are aptly designed to encourage academic and industry oriented growth of the students. Mass Communication course aspires to prepare students to acquire essential professional skills required to become a print/broadcast journalist, an Advertising or PR professional or an event manager. These professionally designed curriculum will help students develop media writing skills, learn and practice reporting techniques, get ‘hands-on’ video production, Radio production, Advertising, Event planning, Social media marketing, Photography, Editing. Animation, Graphics and Public Relations. The objective of the course is to groom students to become expert media professionals through practical industry exposure. The course includes industry projects by which the students get the exposure to various professional domains such as national dailies, radio, television, online media, public relations, advertising & filmmaking.
